F.A.Q.
ARE THERE AGE RESTRICTIONS FOR KIDS?
Children must be 4 years and up to participate in any activity. We require an adult to accompany any children under 16, however a parent or guardian must be present to sign the liability waiver for any minor.
SHOULD I BE CONCERNED ABOUT MY PREEXISTING HEALTH CONDITIONS?
Our cart tour is very tame, but may be too adventurous for anyone with a preexisting back injury. We do not allow those that are pregnant. Please raise any concerns about physical abilities with our reservationist over the phone.
IS THERE A WEIGHT LIMIT?
Yes, for the safety of our dogs our limit is 250 lbs per person and 1500 lbs total on one cart
There is no weight limit on kennel tours

Thank you for choosing
Good Times Adventures!
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK MY TOUR?
All tours MUST be booked in advance. The sooner you call us before your trip, the more times and tour options we will have available. Our busiest weeks are from July 4th to August 25th. During that time, we recommend callinf at least a week in adnvance..
DO YOU TAKE WALK-INS/SAME DAY RESERVATIONS?
While we can occasionally take same day reservations, we cannot take walk-ins. Please call ahead! Only those with reservations will be allowed into the kennel.
WILL MY TOUR BE CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER?
Our tours run rain or shine! While rainy Colorado afternoons are common, it is rare that we cannot run a tour. If rain is in the forecast, arrive prepared with your rain gear (umbrellas, ponchos, raincoats, etc.) Unless your guide deems it unsafe to run the tour due to adverse conditions, our tours will run.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR AND BRING ALONG?
Our facility is completely outdoors so please come prepared with weather appropriate clothing. Long pants and closed-toe shoes are STRONGLY RECOMMENDED. Expect to get a little dirty. Don’t forget to bring water, sunscreen, a camera, and extra cash for t-shirts and a guide gratuity for your great trip!
DO I HAVE TO WALK? IS THIS AN ACTIVE TOUR?
On your tour, some degree of physical participation is required. The kennel tour is a walking tour of our grounds. Huskies like to dig holes, so watch your step! The cart tour travels on old mining roads and can be fast and bumpy, but by no means extreme. We are happy to accommodate anyone with special needs but please let our reservation office know when booking
CAN I PET THE DOGS?
Our huskies are very social and our tours are very hands-on. We start each tour with a brief safety orientation before allowing our guests to interact with the sled dogs.
WILL THERE BE PUPPIES?
At Good Times Adventures, we breed our huskies specifically and very responsibly. Therefore, we can not guarantee that there will be puppies at the kennel during your visit. Our next litter is planned for September 2024
CAN I JUST COME AND SEE THE HUSKIES? DO I NEED TO DO A TOUR?
Advanced reservations are required to enter any part of our facility. A reserved tour is required to see the kennel and meet the huskies. For a full experience, we recommend booking a cart tour, which includes our tour of the kennel.
WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY RESERVATION?
We have a 48 hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel your trip inside that window, you will be responsible for 100% of your trip cost unless we can re-sell your reserved spots. No shows will be charged the balance of your reservation.
HOW EARLY SHOULD I ARRIVE FOR MY TOUR?
Please arrive 15 minutes before your tour to allow for the check in process. Please note our tours often have multiple groups and will start on time. We require a signed liability waiver for each participant.
